Calabria is not sterile. Not smooth. Not over-optimised. But that is exactly where its strength lies.
Much is closer to its origin, closer to people, closer to experience. Many Calabrians have a quiet dislike of unnecessary chemicals, artificial perfection and industrial smoothing.
Not as a grand programme, not as a fashionable ideology, but as an attitude that has grown in everyday life. What one eats, drinks and processes should remain as simple, clean and traceable as possible.
Not perfect. But real.
